SHADE: Surface Heat Assessment for Developed Environments

This project aims to improve the understanding and prediction of extreme urban heat events by developing physical and probabilistic models of urban heat island effects, temperature hazards, and associated risks in cities. The project is supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF Award #1664091).
